Mr. Ferry joined Sunflower in 2007. He represents Sunflower with various regional transmission organizations.

He has spent many years in the utility industry and has served in many capacities. Prior to 1990, he held various engineering and management positions with public utilities in the Nebraska and Washington. He began working for St. Joseph Light & Power Company in 1990 and was responsible for system operations and managing SJLP generation support functions. He joined Aquila, located in Great Bend, Kan., in 2001 and served as Vice President, Wholesale Power Services, and Operating Vice President.

Ferry, a Registered Professional Engineer, holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering and Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Nebraska.
