Mr. Helm joined Sunflower in 2007. He is responsible for financial planning and Member support.

He began his career in the utility industry in 1981 as a plant instrumentation and control technician for Aquila in Great Bend, Kan. During the next 26 years, he worked for Aquila in various positions, which include SCADA/System Protection Technician, Director of System Protection CO & KS, Director of System Operations CO & KS, and Director of Substations CO, KS, MO, and WV.

Helm holds an Associate’s Degree in Electronics from Barton County Community College.
