Mrs. Horsfall began her career with Sunflower Electric Power Corporation in June 1980. In her current position she is responsible for the management of Sunflower's procurement, spare parts inventories, coal supplies, and other administrative services.

She hold a business management degree from Newman University, and has earned several certifications including the National Rural Electric Cooperatives Association Materials Management program and the Institute for Supply Management as an Accredited Purchasing Practitioner and a Certified Purchasing Manager. She also is an accredited Master Facilitator for the Kansas Health Foundation.
