| Sunflower's primary mission is to provide an adequate, reliable, long-term power supply to its Member-Owners at the lowest possible cost consistent with sound business practices. The guiding principle in the development of all policies shall be equitable treatment for all Member-Owners. It is recognized that all Member-Owners do not receive service under the same terms because of pre-existing system conditions. Sunflower is a cooperatively owned corporation, and cooperative philosophy should dominate the formulation of policies. Maximum cooperation between Member-Owners and among Sunflower and its Member-Owners will assure maximum benefits to all. Sunflower will work with all segments of the electric industry: investor owned, federal, municipal, and cooperative, within the state and in surrounding states, to provide bulk power supply. Sunflower will enter into interconnection, exchange, and wheeling agreements whenever possible to make maximum use of existing facilities and resources. |
